Fill forms from your clipboard, field by field
Hotstash's Paste Stack fills forms from items you've copied. Start a stack with your name, email, phone, and anything else. When you click into a field labelled Email or Phone, the matching item is ready, so ⌘V pastes the right value even if you fill the form out of order.
Launch offer: $4.99 instead of $9.99 until 1 January 2027.
How field matching works
- On Mac, Hotstash reads the label of the field you click into (for example "Email address") and stages the stack item that fits.
- On iPhone, forms tell the keyboard what kind of field it is. The Hotstash keyboard marks the matching item as Next.
- Named items match too. Name an item "IBAN" and it goes first when a field mentions IBAN.
- Fields with no match keep the stack's normal order.
Set it up once
- Copy the details you type most often: name, email, phone, address.
- Give them names in Hotstash (right-click → Name on Mac, ⋯ → Name on iPhone) and pin them so they stay.
- Next time you meet a form, select them and start a Paste Stack.
Hotstash only reads a field's label or type while a stack is running, never what you type, and nothing leaves your devices.
Questions
How can I fill forms from my clipboard?
Copy the values, start a Paste Stack in Hotstash, then press ⌘V in each field. Email, phone, website, and named fields get the matching item first.
Is this the same as browser autofill?
No. Autofill only knows what your browser saved. Paste Stack fills any field in any app with whatever you copied, including IDs, IBANs, and order numbers.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, through the Hotstash keyboard, which uses the field type the form declares.
Hotstash is an independent app. Other product names belong to their owners and are used only to compare features.
